I'm still here, now...

Posted on Aug 15th, 2007 by jules : earth awareness agent jules
Wow.. I know I should be *here* more often, but a start-up is much like an infant and I've just got to put my time into making it happy and healthy, so that I'll have time in the future to put time in to this kind of thing. I really value progressive thought, and action, so please keep on keepin' on with all the great Zaadz stuff you're doing. I promise I'll come back soon and contribute in a more meaningful way.

Much JOY, PEACE and LAUGHTER to all.

Love,
Julian

My Ambazzaadzor application!

Posted on Mar 2nd, 2006 by jules : earth awareness agent jules
I recently received an message from Obi inviting me to apply to be a Zaadz Ambassador (I like 'Ambazzaazdor' better myself!) so I thought you may want to see my application. Enjoy! Zaadz: How are we going to change the world together? jules: I'll start with accepting and embracing the change within me and around me. Only when I'm comfortable with the natural process of change and impermanence will I be able to enable positive change in the world. Evolution is all about change, adaptation and letting go of the past. A kind of surrender. Deep level participation in the world (some call this being in the 'now', but can we ever really be anywhere else??) ensures the ego takes the back seat. It can't ever disappear completely, but 'I' can learn how to observe and be present without being in control. So, with this in mind, I would like to help heal the planet and it's creatures. I do this through the way I interact with the planet and it's creatures. I encourage myself and others to tread lightly, think openly and breath deeply. I volunteer, eat a largely vegetarian diet, walk whenever possible, buy fair trade, organic when I can afford it, buy second hand stuff and read about a wide range of things. Zaadz: What do you love most about Zaadz? jules: In no particular order; The genuine expressions of intelligence and compassion. Witnessing people serving, sharing and learning. Photos of places I've not yet been, people I've not yet met. Learning more about these incredible humans trying to build community through computers and software. Zaadz: If you could create your own functional Zaadz tool, what would it be and how would it be used? Multiple dynamic and thematic chat spaces that, when entered, would look like a circle of people around a fire as if seen from above. I could click and drag my icon around and engage various people of my choice - 'listening' to their conversations and/or joining in if I so chose. Zaadz: What is your Philosophy in two sentences? jules: Every breath, every heartbeat, every sensation is a gift. Marvel at the great mystery that enfolds us. Zaadz: As one of our Ambassadors, you will be one of the first moderators of our “Pods" group discussion technology. What do you think the theme of your “pod" will be? jules: Deep democracy and the way of acceptance. Zaadz: Anything else you’d like to tell us? jules: I hope the chosen Ambazzaadzors are every bit as enthusiastic and intelligent as the crew behind Zaadz! Keep up the great effort. love jules

Entering the blogosphere

Posted on Feb 22nd, 2006 by jules : earth awareness agent jules
3, 2, 1 ~ BLAST OFF!! My very first blog entry!! These entries will chronicle the complex and exhilarating thing called living. Some will be stream... er, river... um, ocean of consciousness stuff as much in the now as possible... like that, while others will be reflections and observations i make, and miraculously remember enough of to record and make coherent sense with. right now i'm experiencing a slightly nervous delight at watching the words magically appearing on the screen as I type them while marveling in the technical wonder of this glowing keyboard and slightly audible chirping of the keys as they depress and rebound. the now is graspable... if you let it go seeing how your mind works is possible if you observe it reading Joel Kramer can twist your noodle! love jules
